Fun Halloween-themed clothing is right up my alley and, in my opinion, Shein makes the cutest.  From all the cute ghost earrings to the adorable pumpkin sweaters to the fun skeleton handbags, I just can’t get enough.  So, when I came across this dress, it literally made my Halloween loving heart skip a beat.  I am pretty much obsessed with it.  The one downside, it only comes in plus sizing.  Given that, I couldn’t talk myself into leaving it behind and I bought it to see how it’d work.  When it arrived, it didn’t disappoint.  I fell in love with it even more.  It’s so easy to wear, the style is simple, and in a silhouette that can be worn year after year.  And if that wasn’t enough, t’s a great option if you don’t want to wear a costume but still want to show a little Halloween spirit! Today, I have a little review of this Shein Lune Halloween Print Dress for you.

Size

I bought the smallest size available which is a 12 (0XL).  As expected, it fitted loose on me throughout, but not enough that I wanted to send it back. In fact, I thought the dress surprisingly proportionate for a small frame. And that’s because, the fabric has medium stretch, and the skirt portion of this Halloween dress has an elastic trim at the waist for an easy fit.  Thus, it does tapers in a bit.  With that in mind, I still did take it to a tailor to take off about 2″ inches.  

Material

As for the material, this Halloween Print Dress from Shein is made of 95% polyester and 5% elastane.  The material is unbelievably soft and feels like you are wearing pajamas! Additionally, I love that this dress is flowy, has an adorable, A-line flared hem, and that the length hits at the perfect spot which is ideal for pairing with sneakers. Though, it’s also worth nothing that the fabric is thin but not see-through.

Color

In terms of the color, it has all the classic Halloween hues – orange, black, and white.  In my opinion, it is totally festive and perfect for any Halloween gathering.  Of course, what I really love the most about this dress is the print.  I have always had a soft spot and random obsession for cute quirky items.  And this dress fit the bill.  It is unique and seriously adorable.  What’s more, my favorite posts to share on the blog are the ones where I am twinning or coordinating with my son and this Halloween Print Dress from Shein is such a great piece to do just that! 

Style

That said, how adorable is my son’s Halloween-themed shirt? I came across this skull shirt also at Shein and for $7, I absolutely could not resist it.  It has a cute skull pattern, so soft and perfect for him to wear all throughout the day.  In fact, I packed this exact outfit on our recent trip to Maine, and it was perfect for a day out and about.  

As for the rest of our look, since the dress and shirt are a statement in and of itself, we went with everything else a little more subdued. I wanted the dress and shirt to be the focal point, so a pair of white sneakers, sunglasses, and black cargo jeans are all we needed to round off our outfits!
