Ever since I found this dress from Farm Rio, I have been pretty much obsessed with the brand. Each one of their pieces are swoon worthy. The thoughtful details, timeless design, and undeniable quality make them irresistible. But, while I really like the styles they’ve been releasing lately and would love to add them all to my closet, they are an investment. In fact, in my opinion, the biggest downside to Farm Rio dresses is their price tag. So, I recently went on a mission to find budget-friendly dresses that is as colorful and chic as Farm Rio, and it’s no surprise that I landed on Shein’s Travachic Line. There are so many pieces that stopped me mid-scroll and I was blown away with all their options. Today, I am excited to share a Shein Try-On that includes five of my favorite statement summer dresses from this in-house brand.
That said, let’s get right into it and kick things off with this maxi dress!
I usually skip over dresses like this because it’s typically outside of my comfort zone. But this dress surprised me. The fit is amazing, and this dress is well-made. I love everything about it – the color, the length, the fabric, and even the cut out in the front. It is strategically placed in such a way to show some skin that is flattering, and I am happy to report, I felt beautiful in this. So, for those occasions you have this summer that call for a little oomph, I highly recommend checking this out. Size wise, I am wearing an XS. However, if you are busty, make sure to size up.

You all know how much I love yellow. So, it’s no surprise that I was immediately drawn to this long dress from Shein. But it wasn’t just the color with this dress that got me. I am also crazy for the eye-catching print, and the fun floral applique that adorn the sleeves. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s lightweight and has an easy fit making it a breezy choice this summer. I do want to note that it is semi-sheer but nothing a pair of nippies and nude undergarment can’t fix. I am wearing an XS.

I know this isn’t technically a dress, but I wanted to include it because matching sets are having a moment right now, and it’s easy to see why. Not only are they simple to wear and are a great alternative for when you don’t feel like wearing a dress, but they can be mix and match with other items you already own. So, for a fun pop of color, I paired the pants of this two-piece set with this cute green sweater also from Shein that is perfect for any warm weather outing. For size reference, I am wearing an XS, and it is way too long on me. So, something to keep in mind if you are also 5’0 feet tall!

It can get very hot and sometimes humid in my neck of the woods, so staying cool while looking cute is a huge priority. Thanks to its classic silhouette, tropical pattern, and lightweight fabric, this dress from Shein check off all the boxes. It strikes the perfect balance of playful and chic with its swingy fit, puff sleeves, and split neck with cute tassel details. I am wearing it dressed down here with my favorite tote and sneakers for a fun summer look, but it can easily be dressed up with a clutch and wedges for an easy summer date night outfit. I am wearing an XS.

As much as I love a lighter colored dress for summer, I cannot resist the allure of black. It’s a color unlike any other that just magically work year-round and how beautiful is this one? It features a simple v-neck, long sleeves, elastic waist, and maxi length. But what makes it a chic summer choice for a beachside getaway is the all-over tropical print against the black fabric. In fact, because the dress has so many colors in it, you can opt for different accessories to change up your look! For size reference, I am wearing an XS, but would prefer a small for a little more wiggle room in the shoulders and waist.
Which one is your favorite?
On another note, it’s time for my yearly summer break from the blog. I do plan to write an updated recap of everything we’ve been up to including our moving day, my new office/bedroom reveal, and everything in between. But for now, I couldn’t be more excited to hit the pause button and soak up the slower paced days with my son. It’s something I look forward to all year and I am so grateful for this time with him. Some of you may remember that when I started this blog, he was only three years old and it’s crazy to think that he starts 6th grade come August. So, with that, I hope you are all having a fabulous summer season and as the Terminator would say, “I’ll be back!” #youbetcha

Dress #1 is stunning and a show stopper for sure. I am not sure I could swing the cut outs but I love it!!! I would for sure grab dress #4 for summer and any winter tropical vacations. It’s fun, colorful, it’s swing style adds to its comfort without taking away from being stylish. You created great options.

You look amazing in all these. My favourite is the first one, especially digging the front cut! Then the yellow one is perfect for a cruise or a hot summer cookout day. Shein gets a bad rap for nothing. Also, so glad you posted the 1st rafia bag. It’s perfect for what I’m looking for. Thank you!

Like how you broke down the fit and feel of each dress—especially the green one and see through. It’s helpful seeing how it moves and sits in real life.

All of those are fantastic. I like the last one best. I too, feel the pull of black attire and that one is very pretty.

You look adorable in all of these! I think my favorite is the first one, but the set is pretty fun too! I do love Farm Rio prints, but like you the price tag is a little much for me!
