Long before my son came along, my husband and I went on a date night every Friday.  We alternated each week who was responsible for planning and it was always something both of us look forward to.  Then four years ago, we became parents.  Our priorities had to shift and amidst the daily chaos, we fell into a mechanical routine.  My husband with his work and I with our son.  Without us investing the time, proper focus and attention to our relationship, we plateau as a couple and at times it felt like we were both growing in different directions.  But it’s no secret that one of the best things you can do to nurture your relationship is to make your significant other feel special.  You don’t have to make grand gestures like splurge on expensive gifts or jet set on a luxurious vacation to have a healthy and happy relationship.  Sometimes, it’s the small gestures that make all the difference and having fun in your marriage doesn’t have to be complicated.

While a few different styles caught my eye like Cora and Reece, in the end I chose a model from the Conway series made of Zebrawood and Dark Sandalwood.  This watch is part of JORD men’s line, but I liked it for myself.  Here’s why:  

• I personally love the look of an oversized watch and the Conway model fits the bill.  It is slightly bigger in size than its counterparts in the collection and I can’t get enough of its larger watch face, dials and thicker strap!  
• Style was also important in my choice and the watch blends effortlessly into my wardrobe.  I can wear my JORD watch with any outfit and the versatility is endless.  I can tell this watch will be a closet staple.  
• As a mom and a wife, I have a busy schedule and always on the go.  I love to be efficient and multi-tasking is the name of the game.  Not only does the Conway watch allows me to tackle my day down in style but it allows me to tackle my day down even to the last second because it has a special chronograph function.
• A wooden watch has timeless appeal and I love it for its uniqueness.  The Zebrawood is considered a luxury hardwood and it has a beautiful grain contrast.  The timepiece construction is solid and sturdy, but it is also attractive and eye catching.  This is a watch that will stand the test of time.

In a nutshell, my wood watch from JORD is amazing! I love that it is exquisite and there’s no question about its uniqueness.  Despite of the watch being made of wood; the watch is surprisingly lightweight and very comfortable.  As you can see, it’s simply stunning and it’s truly a statement timepiece.
