Today, I am back with another what I wore outfit recap. This time, from the CSEA paraeducator conference I attended back in March. So, while a traditional work conference usually leans towards a formal business attire, a paraeducator conference calls for more casual outfits. In fact, many people at the conference were in sweatshirts, t-shirts, leggings, and jeans. That said, what you wear to the CSEA paraeducator conference is very much dependent your personal style. As for me, I took it as an opportunity to throw on extra cute outfits that are simple and easy. But, even if you are not attending a conference, these outfits would be great options for casual Fridays in the office.
Let’s jump right in!
First up, when I want to look polished without being too dressy, nothing beats a leopard print and this short-sleeve version from Shein was perfect for my first day of the CSEA paraeducator conference. It’s such an easy piece to throw on and go. Also, because of the soft knit, it feels absolutely dreamlike on, and the cropped length is just right for pairing with high waisted jeans.
Speaking of which, typically, attending a conference means there is going to be a lot of sitting involved and these black ones I am wearing are comfortable for an extended period of time. They are supportive but also have a good amount of stretch. Plus, the raw hem is perfect for any type of shoe.
With that in mind, to elevate my conference attire, I wore my Blondo booties. I got mine years ago from Nordstrom during their annual anniversary sale, and they continue to be a closet favorite year after year. That’s because, they are so comfortable, and extremely versatile.
To complete the look, I added my Louis Vuitton Mini Bum Bag into the mix. This is a new addition to my closet this year, and I plan to post a detailed review soon. In the meantime, this bag is so adorable with its small size and unique shape. It fits all my essentials, and I love how it adds an understated elegance to my look.

Whether at work, training, or at the CSEA conference, comfort is a must as a paraeducator, and this cargo overall from Shein is a no-brainer. There’s something that is effortlessly cool about them and this one I am wearing is from Shein. They are soft, comfortable, and has a flattering fit. But more than that, given that there are extra pockets, they are also very practical. It comes in three other washes, and I am very tempted to get it in black.
Underneath, I wore this printed bodysuit also from Shein. It is so adorable, and the print makes this outfit not only conference appropriate but also classroom friendly. What’s great about this, though, is that the colors in it lends to countless possibilities as it can work with many other items in your closet.
Of course, for ultimate conference comfort, I tied it altogether with my favorite oldie Old Navy white sneakers that you’ve seen many times before. Since I was in and out of classes at the CSEA paraeducator conference, it was the perfect choice.
To finish off the outfit, I carried my large Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag for a bold pop of color. Although, I am all about mini bags, I also appreciate that I have this bag in my collection. My dad gave it to me over 10 years ago. I’ve used mine for everything from the gym to running errands to the beach, as a mom bag, as a carry-on when we travel, or even as a work bag if I need to take home my laptop. Apart from a little wear and tear on the sides and bottom of the bag, it’s still going strong.

Last but not least, a sweater dress is a great choice to wear at the CSEA conference because they are so easy to wear and is a great alternative to jeans.
In this look, I am wearing this sweater dress from Shein. It features a sleeveless style, classic shift dress silhouette, and a plaid pattern with different mix of colors. Lengthwise, it falls right above the knee and despite the thinner fabric, it is soft and comfortable. As an added bonus, it doesn’t wrinkle easily which makes it perfect for travel. While this dress is great on its own, conference rooms are almost always cold, and layering is the best option for keeping warm.
Underneath, I am wearing a white basic long-sleeve bodysuit from Amazon. The fabric feels amazing, super soft, and it’s a wonderful basic to have in your closet whether you are attending a conference or not.
On my feet, I went with my oldie but goodie white sneakers yet again because it just works. I love how it bookends my look. But how cute would this same outfit be with rain boots?
To complete the look, I brought along one of my Chloe Faye mini backpacks to coordinate with the dress. I have it in the most beautiful shade of yellow and it is such a stunner. I get compliments every time I carry it. The shape is such a classic and I love that it can be carried as a backpack or as a shoulder bag. If you’d like to see more details about it, I have a full review on this little cutie in a previous post.

The sweater dress paired with sneakers is such a cute look. I haven’t had a sweater dress in a minute but that’s because we moved away from a cooler climate. I loved them once upon a time!

You look so cute in all of the outfits. My favorite is the blue jean jumper…..so cute. I like how comfortable you were. I don’t want to always swear a suit or a dresses dress to an event or conference….these outfits are just perfect.
