You should think about investing in a kimono, if you don’t own one yet. In a print or solid, kimonos are a beautiful, stunning outer piece that adds a bit of glam to an otherwise plain outfit. It’s incredibly comfortable and easy to style with hardly any effort. Kimonos are also an all-season piece that can work for different occasions and can be worn in a variety of ways. It’s easy to wear with a light sweater and jeans or tees and shorts, it’s great over a dress, a romper or draped over your bathing suit.
I paired this animal print kimono from David & Young that I found at Nordstrom with my favorite black romper from Forever 21 during our stay at the beautiful Centara Resort in Thailand a few weeks ago. I love the fringe detail that run along the bottom of the kimono and the gorgeous print. By wearing all black, my kimono can be the center of attention. I kept the rest of my look simple by just adding a neutral colored handbag and wedges.
