Leopard Belt Bag

I have always been into small bags and lately, I have been obsessed with belt bags! As a mama, I love clothing that are no fuss, easy to wear and doesn’t restrict my movement. Accessories are no exception. My son is a big ball of energy and he can’t stand still for more than a minute so when he is off running away from me, I need to be able to run after him and you know there’s nothing more annoying than being hindered by too much stuff.
Enter the belt bag….
This bag is from Forever 21 and is under $25. Minimal, sleek and practical, this belt bag is exactly what I was looking for. The pouch is big enough to hold my phone, keys and a small wallet. It is made of faux fur, has leopard print with high polish studded trim and it’s convertible! The belt is detachable in case you want to wear it without the bag or want to use the pouch as a small clutch. It is beyond convenient and in my opinion, it doesn’t get any better than that!
Apart from its convenience and practicality, a belt bag can also really help pull a look together and it’s just so easy to wear. It adds a little something extra to a simple outfit and it’s unbelievable how this little bag goes with everything from dresses to jeans to leggings to shorts! Not to mention, the leopard print makes it a must have for any wardrobe. I don’t know about you, but animal print is one of my favorite patterns as documented here and here!
I wore my belt bag recently to my son’s birthday party and it was perfect. I wanted my belt bag to be the highlight of the outfit, so I donned on a simple t-shirt and jeans and made my bum bag the star attraction! The best part, I didn’t have to worry about where or with who I needed to leave my valuables with. Just like the wrong outfit can ruin how much fun you have on a date, by spending the entire evening adjusting straps or pulling down a dress, the wrong accessory can have the same effect. With the belt bag by my side (literally), I was able to focus on our guests and not where I left my phone or keys.
I know belt bags aren’t for everyone, so if you are not sure which belt bag to try, this one is perfect to start with and if you are obsessed with bum bags just like me, this is a great addition to any handbag collection! Below I rounded up some of my favorite belt bags on the market that will work for every budget.
