A birthday is a joyful occasion and I am thrilled to join 20 other incredible ladies to celebrate our friend, Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood on her special day. In honor of this wonderful moment, Ada had asked each of us to style a dress or a skirt of our choosing for her virtual birthday party! With its no fuss and timeless appeal, I ultimately decided on my t-shirt dress! It’s one of my favorites and has been a staple in my closet.
Most people I know enjoy basking in the sun, I do not. If I am being honest, I am not a fan of hot temperatures and summer is my least favorite season. While we are still in the season of spring, we got a sneak peek of 85-degree weather for a few days in my neck of the woods and for someone like me, this kind of temperature err on the side of miserable. So, to feel a little better and cooler, I wore my t-shirt dress from Forever 21. I am happy for its loose and relaxed fit! The sleeves have varsity stripes and give just the perfect amount of detail. I styled my dress with minimal accessories to keep the look easy and casual. If you can’t tell by now, I am a low maintenance outfit kind of girl and I love clothing that are effortless and easy to wear because to me, comfort is king!
I have had my t-shirt dress for quite some time now and therefore, is no longer available online. I have linked a very similar style for you though that is only $10, and it is still available in both black and mustard color. But if you are looking for a dressier option or simply a different option, below are nine of my favorite t-shirt dresses that are currently on my wish list.

That’s such a cute tee dress! I love casual tee dresses, although with them being on the shorter side I don’t have a lot of opportunities to wear them as I’m always with the boys. With casual shoes like this is my default go-to with them too, especially for spring and autumn 🙂
