I AM BACK!!!!
After twenty-four days of adventures, I am happy to be home. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw we took a trip of a lifetime to Europe with our 5-year old in tow! We started in Portugal and then made our way to Greece. We had the best time exploring and sightseeing and I am excited to share all the details of our trip with you guys over the next month or so but today I am sharing one of my favorite outfits from our trip!
So, let’s get into it and talk about this cute jumpsuit, shall we?
If you have traveled to Greece in the summer, then you know that the sun can be quite hot and intense. While the mornings and evenings are bearable, the rest of the day is sweltering and can be stifling so, it’s always nice to have a light and airy outfit on hand.
That’s where this jumpsuit comes in.
Personally, it took me a while to jump on the jumpsuit train. Now that I have though, I am a fan! To me, jumpsuits are always a good go-to outfit especially on vacation. Not only are they easy to pack but they require very little effort to look put together. Frankly, jumpsuits do all the work for you and like a dress, it’s a one and done outfit. All you need to do is add shoes and accessories! Simple, right?
I picked up this multicolored striped jumpsuit at Forever 21 right before our trip and for under $25, it is a steal! It has the prettiest colors and I am completely obsessed with the print. The halter neckline is so flattering, it also comes with a tie-on belt to accentuate the waist and there’s no doubt that the open back make a major statement! The wide legs make it so comfortable in the heat and I love the way the fabric flows and moves with you. You guys, it seriously feels like I am wearing pajamas! Oh, and did I mention it has pockets too?!
A few side notes, the material does wrinkle easily, and the jumpsuit is unlined. While these factors can be a deal breaker for some, it wasn’t for me. I simply wore these nipple covers and a pair of nude seamless shorts underneath without any problem.
Since this jumpsuit is already a fashion statement, I wanted to keep my accessories to a minimum. I finished off my look with my favorite nude ankle strap sandals that I have owned for several years and a fun straw clutch for added visual interest. I felt like both accessories gave this look the chic effortless vibe I was going for. Mission accomplished!
